How it came to be
A cloud drawn as a line with a roof beneath it, and the rain falling out of it in four drops.
How it is used
- Rain - as weather it takes 下: 下雨了 (xià yǔ le) it's raining, parallel to 下雪.
- 雨衣 (yǔyī) raincoat, 雨伞 (yǔsǎn) umbrella, 暴雨 (bàoyǔ) a downpour.
