How it is used
- To request / ask for (earnestly), and a request - 请求帮助 (qǐngqiú bāngzhù) ask for help, 拒绝请求 turn down a request.
- Making an earnest appeal, more formal and weightier than casual 要/问; the requester is in the lower position.
- Both verb and noun; measure word 个.
