How it is used
- "consider, hold the view that" - 我认为他是对的 (wǒ rènwéi tā shì duì de) I think he's right.
- More formal and considered than 觉得 (juéde, feel/reckon); use 认为 for reasoned opinions, 觉得 for impressions and feelings.
- Introduces a full clause as its object, not just a noun.
