How it is used
- 'Completely, totally, entirely' - an adverb intensifying to 100%: 完全同意 (wánquán tóngyì) completely agree, 完全不懂 (wánquán bù dǒng) don't understand at all.
- Contrast 全部 (quánbù, 'all of' a set of items): 完全 = the degree 'fully', while 全部 counts the whole quantity.
- Also an adjective 'complete/whole' in 完全正确 (wánquán zhèngquè) entirely correct.
