How it is used
- Two senses. Literal: to unload cargo from a vehicle/ship (卸载货物).
- But in daily life the dominant sense is tech: 'to uninstall (software/an app)' - 卸载程序 (xièzài chéngxù) to uninstall a program. Opposite: 安装 (ānzhuāng, to install), 安装软件 (ānzhuāng ruǎnjiàn) install software.
