How it is used
- Relationship or connection between people or things - 我们的关系很好 (wǒmen de guānxi hěn hǎo) we get along well; 没关系 (méi guānxi) it doesn't matter.
- Culturally loaded: 关系 also means personal connections/networking - 靠关系 (kào guānxi) getting things done through who you know.
- As a verb-ish frame: 这跟你没关系 (zhè gēn nǐ méi guānxi) this has nothing to do with you. Second syllable is neutral tone (guānxi).
