How it is used
- A 跟 B 一样 - "A is the same as B": 我跟你一样高 (wǒ gēn nǐ yíyàng gāo) I'm as tall as you.
- Negate with 不一样 (bù yíyàng, different); the compared quality (高/大/多) follows 一样.
- Also "like/as": 像孩子一样 (xiàng háizi yíyàng) like a child.
