How it is used
- A necktie - 打领带 (dǎ lǐngdài) put on/tie a tie; 系领带 (jì lǐngdài) knot a tie. Measure word 条 (tiáo).
- 领 = collar. A bow tie is 领结 (lǐngjié); note 打领带 uses 打 for the act of tying it.
