- Colloquial 'inside/in there' - 箱子里头 (xiāngzi lǐtou) inside the box; 屋子里头很暖和 (wūzi lǐtou hěn nuǎnhuo) it's warm inside the room.
- Spoken equivalent of 里面 (lǐmiàn); 头 is neutral tone (lǐtou). Slightly more casual and northern-flavored.
