How it is used
- An ingrained idea, concept or mindset - 传统观念 (chuántǒng guānniàn) traditional notions, 时间观念 (shíjiān guānniàn) sense of time / punctuality.
- A deep-seated belief or attitude one holds, not a passing thought; often what needs 转变 (changing).
- Distinguish from 观点 (guāndiǎn, a stated viewpoint on an issue); 观念 is the underlying mindset.
