How it is used
- To cover / blanket an area - 白雪覆盖大地 (báixuě fùgài dàdì) snow blankets the land.
- Extends to coverage/reach: 网络覆盖 (wǎngluò fùgài) network coverage, 覆盖全国 (fùgài quánguó) covering the whole country.
- Also 'to overwrite': 文件被覆盖了 (wénjiàn bèi fùgài le) the file got overwritten. More formal than 盖 (gài).
