How it is used
- Two jobs: (1) to employ/deploy people - 会用人 (huì yòngrén) good at using talent; (2) a domestic servant - 家里的用人 (jiā lǐ de yòngrén) the household help.
- In management talk 用人 is about picking and placing the right people: 用人不当 (yòngrén búdàng) misassigning people.
- Also 用得着人 sense: 正是用人的时候 (zhèng shì yòngrén de shíhou) just when we need hands.
