How it is used
- To be unconscious / in a coma - 陷入昏迷 (xiànrù hūnmí) fall into a coma, 昏迷不醒 (hūnmí bù xǐng) remain unconscious.
- A medical state of lost consciousness. Distinct from 晕倒 (yūndǎo, faint) which is brief; 昏迷 implies a deeper, prolonged state.
