- 'No matter (what/how/who)' - pairs with a question word and a following 都/也 - 无论多难，我都会坚持 (wúlùn duō nán, wǒ dōu huì jiānchí) no matter how hard, I'll persist.
- Formal/written twin of the spoken 不管 (bùguǎn); both work identically.
- Also 无论如何 (wúlùn rúhé) 'in any case / whatever happens'.
