How it is used
- Attitude / manner toward something or someone - 工作态度 (gōngzuò tàidù) work attitude, 态度很好 (tàidù hěn hǎo) has a good attitude.
- Covers both disposition (serious, lazy) and demeanor (polite, rude) shown outwardly; du is neutral tone.
- 端正态度 (duānzhèng tàidù) = to set one's attitude right, a common phrase; contrast 看法 (a viewpoint) which is intellectual, not behavioral.
