How it is used
- Directional 'go back' - return away from the speaker: 我该回去了 (wǒ gāi huíqù le) I should head back.
- Contrast 回来 (huílái, come back): 去 = away from where the speaker is, 来 = toward the speaker.
- Also a complement: 送回去 (sòng huíqù) send/take back, 放回去 (fàng huíqù) put back.

- 回去工作。 Huíqù gōngzuò.Go back to work.
