How it is used
- 'An expert / one in the know; adept' - 他对茶很内行 (tā duì chá hěn nèiháng) he really knows his tea.
- Note the reading háng (as in 行业), not xíng. Direct opposite of 外行 (wàiháng, layperson/amateur); the 内行/外行 pair distinguishes insiders from novices - 说外行话 (shuō wàiháng huà) talk like an amateur.
