How it is used
- Prejudice, a biased and unfair preconception - 对他有偏见 (duì tā yǒu piānjiàn) to be prejudiced against him; 消除偏见 (eliminate prejudice).
- Always negative - a judgment made without fair basis. 带着偏见 = viewing with bias.
- Contrast 成见 (chéngjiàn, an entrenched fixed opinion), very close; and 观点 (guāndiǎn, a neutral viewpoint).
