- 仍旧 and 仍然 (réngrán) are near-identical formal adverbs for 'still'; both are more written than 还 (hái).
- 仍旧 stresses continuation of a prior state (旧 = old/former).
- Sentence position: before the verb: 他仍旧那么忙 he's still as busy as before.
