- To enjoy/possess (rights, prestige, a reputation) - 享有盛誉 (xiǎngyǒu shèngyù) to enjoy a great reputation, 享有权利 (xiǎngyǒu quánlì) to enjoy rights.
- Formal; takes abstract goods like fame, privileges, status - never a physical object. Contrast 享用 (xiǎngyòng), which is enjoying concrete things.
- Common in legal and formal descriptive writing.
