How it is used
- Another / separate / additionally - 另外 (lìngwài) besides/in addition, 另一个 (lìng yí ge) the other one, 另一方面 (lìng yì fāngmiàn) on the other hand.
- 另 marks a different, additional item from the one already mentioned.
