How it is used
- A forecast (esp. weather) that is announced/broadcast - 天气预报 (tiānqì yùbào) weather forecast.
- 报 (report/announce) makes this the publicly delivered forecast. Vs 预测 (yùcè, to predict) which is the act of predicting, or 预计 (yùjì, to estimate/expect).
