How it is used
- To seize the momentum / do something conveniently while the chance is there - 顺势推出新品 (shùnshì tuīchū xīnpǐn) to ride the moment and launch a new product.
- Means acting along with an existing trend or motion, often 'while I'm at it' or 'capitalizing on the wave'.
- Contrast 逆势 (nìshì, against the trend); 顺势而为 = to act in accordance with the situation/momentum.
