How it is used
- To tempt/lure; also temptation itself - 抵挡不住诱惑 (dǐdǎng bú zhù yòuhuò) unable to resist the temptation; 金钱的诱惑 (jīnqián de yòuhuò) the lure of money.
- Both verb and noun. Carries a sense of drawing someone toward something enticing, often morally risky.
- Stronger than 吸引 (xīyǐn, to attract): 诱惑 implies seductive pull and possible danger.
