How it is used
- A fixed letter-closing phrase - 此致敬礼 (cǐzhì jìnglǐ) 'with respect / yours respectfully'.
- Formulaic; appears near the end of formal Chinese letters, followed by 敬礼 on the next line.
- Not used in ordinary speech; purely an epistolary convention.
