How it is used
- Incompetent / incapable - 无能的领导 (wúnéng de lǐngdǎo) an incompetent leader, 软弱无能 (ruǎnruò wúnéng) weak and useless.
- Judges a lack of ability, often scathingly. Note it's a fault-finding word, unlike neutral 不会 (can't do).
