How it is used

  • 'It doesn't matter / I don't care either way' - 去不去无所谓 (qù bú qù wúsuǒwèi) whether to go or not doesn't matter, 我无所谓 (wǒ wúsuǒwèi) I'm easy / whatever.
  • Expresses indifference or that something is of no consequence; very common in casual speech.
  • Also 'cannot be called/is not really' - 无所谓好坏 (wúsuǒwèi hǎohuài) can't be labeled good or bad.
