How it is used
- Means "unrelated / has nothing to do with" - 这跟你无关 (zhè gēn nǐ wúguān) this is none of your business / nothing to do with you.
- Often in the frame 与…无关 or 跟…无关; also the set phrase 无关紧要 (wúguān jǐnyào) unimportant, of no consequence.
- More formal and compact than saying 没有关系; 无关 attaches directly as a predicate.
