How it is used
- Cost (of production/doing something) - 降低成本 (jiàngdī chéngběn) lower costs; 成本高 high cost.
- An economics/business term for the resources sunk into producing something, not a price tag (that's 价格 jiàgé) or an expense you pay (费用 fèiyòng). 时间成本 = time cost.
- 成本 is what it costs you to make/do; 价格 is what you sell it for.
