How it is used
- By coincidence, as luck would have it - 我恰巧路过 (wǒ qiàqiǎo lùguò) I happened to be passing by.
- Near-identical to 恰好 (qiàhǎo) and 正好 (zhènghǎo); 恰巧 stresses the lucky-chance angle a bit more strongly.
- Adverb placed before the verb; slightly more written than colloquial 正好.
