将来 jiānglái the future

How it is used
- The future - 将来我想当医生 (jiānglái wǒ xiǎng dāng yīshēng) in the future I want to be a doctor.
- Refers to the time ahead in one's life or in general; 将 read jiāng.
- Contrast 未来 (wèilái), a more formal/grand 'future' (of society, the world); 将来 is the everyday personal 'someday/later on'.
