- Quality - of a product, or moral character of a person - 产品品质 (chǎnpǐn pǐnzhì) product quality; 高尚的品质 (gāoshàng de pǐnzhì) noble character.
- Contrast 质量 (zhìliàng), the standard word for product/work quality (and physical mass); 品质 sounds a touch more premium/refined and also covers human virtues.
- Marketing favors 品质 for its upscale ring: 品质生活 (pǐnzhì shēnghuó) quality living.
