How it is used
- To make up / reconcile after a falling-out - 两人和好了 (liǎng rén héhǎo le) the two made up; 和好如初 (héhǎo rúchū) be reconciled as before.
- Personal and warm - friends, couples, family patching things up. Distinct from formal 和解 (héjiě), which settles disputes or lawsuits.
