How to remember 压力: 压 press + 力 power = pressure.

How it is used
- Pressure / stress - psychological or physical - 工作压力大 (gōngzuò yālì dà) high work stress; 减轻压力 (jiǎnqīng yālì) reduce pressure.
- Note the collocation: pressure is 大/小 (big/small), not 高/低. 有压力 (yǒu yālì) to feel stressed.
- Covers social/mental stress and literal physical pressure (气压 air pressure, 水压 water pressure).
