- Colloquial 'not worth it / doesn't pay' - 为这点小事生气，太划不来了 (getting angry over such a trifle really isn't worth it).
- A cost-benefit judgment: the return isn't worth what you'd spend. Note reading huá. Direct opposite: 划得来 (worth it) - 买这个划得来 (mǎi zhège huádelái) buying this is worth it.
