How it is used
- An envelope for a letter. 把信装进信封 (bǎ xìn zhuāng jìn xìnfēng) put the letter in the envelope.
- Measure word 个 or 只: 一个信封 (yí ge xìnfēng). Don't confuse with 信封 the container vs 信 (xìn) the letter itself.
- Related: 邮票 (yóupiào) stamp goes on the 信封; 信箱 (xìnxiāng) is the mailbox.
