How it is used
- To rule over or control the fate of something - 命运由自己主宰 (mìngyùn yóu zìjǐ zhǔzǎi) you are the master of your own fate.
- Grander and more absolute than 控制 (kòngzhì, to control) or 支配 (zhīpèi, to allocate/dominate): 主宰 implies being the supreme master, often of destinies, nature, or history.
