How it is used
- One's specialty or special expertise - 他的专长是数据分析 (tā de zhuāncháng shì shùjù fēnxī) his specialty is data analysis.
- Noun about a person's strong skill area; common on résumés and in introductions (学有专长, to have a field of expertise).
- Note the reading zhuāncháng (长 = cháng, strong point), not zhǎng.
