How it is used
- Location noun 'below / underneath' - 床下面 (chuáng xiàmiàn) under the bed.
- The counterpart of 上面 (shàngmiàn, on top); bare 下 also works: 床下.
- Also 'next / the following' in a sequence: 下面请听 (xiàmiàn qǐng tīng) next, please listen.
