Characters
How it is used
- 'A little, a bit' before a noun - 喝一点儿水 (hē yìdiǎnr shuǐ) drink a little water.
- For a slight degree after an adjective use 一点儿 too: 便宜一点儿 (piányi yìdiǎnr) a bit cheaper. Don't confuse with 有点儿 (yǒudiǎnr), which comes before an adjective and carries a negative tinge: 有点儿贵 a bit too pricey.
