How it is used
- Beyond 'one head (of cattle)', its most useful sense is adverbial 'headlong / straight into' - 一头扎进水里 (yìtóu zhā jìn shuǐ lǐ) to dive headfirst into the water, 一头栽倒 (yìtóu zāidǎo) to topple over.
- Also 'a head covered in': 一头大汗 (yìtóu dàhàn) a head full of sweat, 一头白发 (yìtóu báifà) a full head of white hair.
