- To scurry/flee/dart about - 逃窜 (táocuàn) to flee in disarray, 流窜 (liúcuàn) to roam and hide (criminals), 上蹿下窜 (shàngcuān-xiàcuàn) to dash around / stir up trouble.
- Also to alter a text: 篡改 vs 窜改 (cuàngǎi) to tamper with wording. The 'scurry' sense is the vivid one.
