How it is used

  • Bald / bare / blunt - 秃头 (tūtóu) bald head, 秃顶 (tūdǐng) balding on top, 秃山 (tūshān) a barren, treeless hill, 秃笔 (tūbǐ) a worn-out brush.
  • 秃鹫 (tūjiù) is a vulture. Also internet slang 谢顶/秃 for programmers 'going bald' from overwork.
