- Two readings. jìn = to exhaust / to the utmost - 尽力 (jìnlì) do one's best, 尽头 (jìntóu) the end, 尽情 (jìnqíng) to one's heart's content.
- jǐn = as…as possible / despite - 尽量 (jǐnliàng) as much as possible, 尽快 (jǐnkuài) as soon as possible, 尽管 (jǐnguǎn) although/go ahead.
