用法
- 'Excuse me, may I ask...' - the polite opener before a question to a stranger: 请问，洗手间在哪里? (qǐngwèn, xǐshǒujiān zài nǎlǐ?) excuse me, where's the restroom?
- Literally 'please (let me) ask'; softens the request. Not used to apologize - for that use 对不起 or 不好意思.
