- A written/printed invitation card - 发请帖 (fā qǐngtiě) to send out invitations; 一张请帖 (yī zhāng qǐngtiě).
- For weddings, banquets, ceremonies. Note 帖 reads tiě (3rd/flat) here, not tiē or tiè.
- Essentially identical to 请柬 (qǐngjiǎn); 请帖 is a bit more colloquial, 请柬 slightly more formal.
