用法
- Two uses. As a warning: 'terrible/disastrous' - 出了大事，不得了了！(chū le dàshì, bùdéliǎo le) something awful has happened!
- After 得, as an intensifier 'extremely': 高兴得不得了 (gāoxìng de bùdéliǎo) incredibly happy; 热得不得了 (rè de bùdéliǎo) unbearably hot.
- Context decides: standalone/exclamation = it's serious; after an adjective + 得 = 'to an extreme degree'.
