用法
- A mirror → to examine/reflect on. Formal register. 鉴定 (jiàndìng) to appraise/authenticate (鉴定真伪 to verify authenticity), 鉴别 (jiànbié) to distinguish.
- 借鉴 (jièjiàn) to learn from / draw on (something else's example) - 值得借鉴 (zhídé jièjiàn) worth taking as a reference. 鉴于 (jiànyú) = in view of, a written connective: 鉴于此 (jiànyú cǐ) in light of this.
