- Also aimless talk: 闲扯 (xiánchě) to chat idly, 扯淡 (chědàn) to talk nonsense/bullshit, 别扯远了 (bié chě yuǎn le) don't stray off topic.
- 牵扯 (qiānchě) = to involve/drag in.
