用法
- To carry out/tread - chiefly 履行 (lǚxíng) to fulfill (a duty, contract, promise): 履行义务 (lǚxíng yìwù) fulfill an obligation.
- 履历 (lǚlì) = one's résumé/track record. Literal 'shoe/to walk' sense (如履薄冰 rúlǚ-bóbīng, as if treading on thin ice) is literary. Formal register.
